Date/Duration

2018

Project Outputs

We provided the NAGGF with an evidence base to support the 2019 programming of the British Embassy in Rabat. Specifically, we conducted qualitative field research and analysis of the drivers of violent extremism in Morocco, and the role that families could play in Countering Violent Extremism programming.

The study, based on key informant interviews with relevant stakeholders, assessed the feasibility, options, potential gains and risks of supporting families as key providers of peace and tolerance in Morocco.

The study provided the British Embassy in Rabat with an evidence base to support programmatic recommendations, including potential entry points for future programming.
