Project Objectives
Provide a contextual analysis of Syrian civil society, along with organisational profiles of key actors.
Project Outputs
Using qualitative and quantitative research methods, Integrity collected relevant data from key informants on over 40 Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) inside Syria.
We provided sectoral capacity and needs assessments training to Syrian researchers and field staff to help them deliver the research. A workshop comprising researchers, Syria experts and CSO representatives then validated the final selection of profiled CSOs.
The findings from the study informed the hub and spoke approach and design of a subsequent FCO programme to deliver technical assistance to a range of CSOs.
