Integrity at USAID Asia Regional OSDBU Conference
Integrity founder and CEO, Anthony Ellis, was delighted to attend USAID Asia Regional Overseas Small Business Conference this week in Bangkok.
With over 250 participants and more than 100 organisations in attendance, it was a great opportunity to speak with USAID mission representatives from around the world and across the Asia region and brief them on Integrity’s work. This includes our most recent award to deliver the USAID Asia Bureau’s Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning activity that provides technical assistance and advisory services to support the U.S. Government’s (USG) Indo-Pacific Strategy.
“It was energizing to be among such a large crowd of best-in-sector small businesses that play such a vital role in bringing innovation and diversity to development, peacebuilding, and economic growth—as well as critical partnership with local organisations.”
— Anthony Ellis, Founder and CEO
The two-day conference comprised briefings from agency leaders and experts, including Deputy Assistant Administrator Sara Borodin, Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Management Colleen Allen, Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Gwendolyn Cardno, Regional Development Mission Asia (RDMA) Director Steve Olive, Policy Division Chief (Office of Acquisition and Assistance) Lyudmila Bond, and Deputy Director, Program Officer (RDMA) Jennifer Carvalho.
There was also an exhibition hall filled with mission staff, contractors and other federal agencies, and a program of interactive sessions and dynamic discussions, workshops, and in-person sessions designed to foster collaboration and diversify USAID’s global network of partnerships. It was a fantastic occasion to build on relationships with several valued Integrity partners and clients including Chemonics, MSI, DAI, NGS, and Social Impact.
A big thank you for all the incredible hard work by the USAID OSDBU team, led by Kimberly Ball, that made the conference such a great success.
A real appreciation also to Ayana Angulo, Supervisory Contracting Officer, Regional Development Mission for Asia, Mohib Ahmed, Supervisory Contracting Officer, Indonesia Mission, Marva Butler, Supervisory Contracting Officer, Nigeria Mission, Keisha Effiom, Deputy Mission Director, Rwanda and Burundi Mission, Javier Castano, Supervisory Contracting and Agreement Officer, Dominican Republic Mission, Andrew Holland, Director, Bangladesh Mission, Vann Rolfson, Contracting and Agreement Officer, South Africa Mission, Pakprim Oranop Na Ayuthaya, Development Assistance Specialist RDMA, and Craig Smith, Regional Contracting Officer/Deputy Director, RDMA, for their passionate and heartfelt contributions to optimising the relationship and support USAID provides to its small business partners.
