Evaluation Of Refugee Programme In Jordan
From July to September of 2012, Integrity conducted a programme evaluation for CARE Jordan’s Refugee Programme. The programme is addressing physical and psychosocial well being of refugees from Iraq, Syria and internally displaced Jordanians. The programme has three components – employment and activities, livelihoods and NFI distribution and psychosocial support. The evaluator assessed the three components according to the OECD DAC standards and developed recommendations on areas where the programme can improve.
The methodology used was a standard end of programme evaluation with a clear evaluation matrix and interview guides covering the areas of impact, sustainability, effectiveness and efficiency. The team undertook focus group discussions with beneficiaries and staff, interviewed key programme staff and other stakeholders (to some extent).
